Protip: I'm a woman.

Are people really that stupid that they think women are somehow physically equally strong (or stronger) than men. What. The. Fuck. Really now, that's just retarded. And it seems both men and women think this way. Sometime ago I came across this 'movement' thing where people wanted to POINT OUT that women get hurt more easily than men. I even found out this picture where it explained with detail how to hurt a woman. Then people present the information out like it was some fucking holy grail and they have just found the answer to all existence.

Of course women are frail. I've known it since I was a kid. Where's the news?

I know I'm weak.
And I know it's because of evolution.

Are people just ignorant?
What is the big fucking deal?

Needed EXPLANATION Of The Results From Yours Truly

FIRST OF ALL:
This.. thing, - for the love of anything sacred - this thing fucking sucks.
Honestly it does. If with some reasoning I'm able to pull out straight zeros it has to. Me, of all people.

Second of all:
I did not lie nor am I fearless.

Yes, yes, I admit those are common, in some way or another. But I can bet my huge ass that those aren't THE TOP 72 MOST COMMON fears. Probably hand picked from the most common 100 (if not 500) fears.

Let us take an example (Heights) and start reasoning.

Big part of people (not all!) says they are afraid of heights. Even I would tremble on top of the bungee jump platform. And for me, it is easier to say that I am afraid of heights too but it's not really the whole truth. The heights might be even comfortable places for me....

Okay moving on. On high places the chance of falling becomes if not probable then more possible at least. When falling you are going towards the point with most gravity and in this case the ground below us. (I would so much love to add more laws of physics here but you are getting bored already.) A free-fall would be actually fun to experience. Wind blowing past me, just like on a bicycle or a motorcycle, but with the absence of the sense of weight....

But like everything, that must end too. However falling has the nasty habit of getting stuff crushed on the ground. Now THERE is the thing I would love to avoid. If we leave the difficult subject of dying aside, all left is a terribly maimed body. And pain.

Now, dear readers, we are actually getting there.

I Am Afraid Of Getting Hurt.
If I could stress it more without making it look stupid I would do it. And I don't make difference with mental or physical pain. Oh, and I get hurt WAY too easily.

Therefore bungee jumping for me would be interesting but too expensive. And there's always the little chance of something going terribly wrong.

With THIS reasoning I could also be oh-so-witty and mark all 72.
In the dark I could trip and fall and therefore hurt myself. Staying single forever would hurt only if I was in love with someone who wouldn't love me back (or just couldn't be with etc.). Being a parent.. if.. I would do something wrong and everybody would shun me and hate me as a bad mum. Giving birth if I don't get enough painkillers.... And so on.

I can almost hear somebody asking "So you are not afraid of being yourself in front of others/death/large crowds of people etc."
Well death is a bit more complicated, I don't mind being myself in front of others but then I would end up getting hurt. And some of that list are just disgusting or makes me uncomfortable. I didn't X them because this is a fear list if you didn't notice.

Why there is not "getting hurt" as one. Or "the unknown". THEN you could say the filler lies if there's none crossed.
Either this shit fucking fails or I do.

And I'm overly irritated at the moment anyway (too much dramachan & ED)

Browsing the Internet caused me to find something extremely interesting (I stopped on psycho_djinn's journal entry). There will be a fantasy movie and it's based on a book. ^w^ I know this doesn't seem much but I feel like there haven't been much new fantasy stuff going on and I'm not good at finding anything anyway.... Except for now!! I just want to get the books from the library and consume them but before that I have to pay for the previous overdues so I can get these.... .__.
Yea, and.... stuff and stuff and stuff and stuff 8D

Of course there is this one thing that may annoys me: the creatures are, in Finnish version, called Daimons and I've been a long while planning to completely change my demons to be daimons (and when they get stronger, daimonyons; the names are blatantly stolen from some Greek philosophist usage) and now nobody won't believe me and they want me to give the credit for some book I haven't even read yet....

Oh well, I'm not that good of a pseudo artist that anybody would actually care. Maybe someday when my "art" will be "decent" enough (not to burn your eyes) somebody might notice a connection of some sort and do something I'm too lazy to think further so I'll just leave it here. Yea.

After being away from DA for a while, for the fun of it I decided to read again my journal shown on the front page.
It made me seriously think what was I on on that moment. What I mean, is that usually I make fairly general and boring stuff on that journal but now I wrote all capitals promoting my (nearly contentless) website and ended up insulting some (non-existant) guy.

Now this isn't any polished thing but just a "first craft" type of thing. I'm planning on adding my other characters too.

1. What is your character's name?
Fe'trean: Fe'trean Silverwraith von Helsinki

2. What kind of character is it (furry, anime, etc) and any particular race? Please use more than one word.
Almost all of them are daimons. In my world: An anthropomorphic creature: human-like build, stands on two feet, usually five fingers and toes etcetc....
Fe'trean: is a daimon that resemblences dragon. Long and shaggy human-like hair (which are actually feathers). Reptilian tail that is longer than Fe'trean's height. Long donkey-like ears.

3. What is the first thing your character would think of when he/she first wakes up?
Fe'trean: "Do I really have to get up?"

4. Your character's favorite outfit would be?
Fe'trean: Simple and practical - nothing fancy. For example something like black t-shirt, black jeans and white semi-long coat. =mine

5. When your character looks into a mirror, what's the first thing they would notice?
Fe'trean: Her own reflection. Dunno, doesn't make a big deal out of her looks.

6. Does your character have the same tastes in food as you?
Fe'trean: In most part, yes.

7. How is your character similar to you?
Fe'trean: Saying "She is me" sounds stupid.... Fe'trean is one version of me, or what I wish to be in some way. Like an imagination friend who will eventually save me from this existence....

8. How is he/she different?
Fe'trean: Anthropomorphic, white with black eye-markings, bi-coloured eyes.

9. If your character could speak, would they have the same voice as you? (If no, define)
Fe'trean: Yes and no. When, loooong before Intrawebs, I tried to imagine her voice it was something like.. a rusty version of mine XD Then I looked up a dictionary and found out that words husky and hoarse would be understood better....

10. If you were to suddenly become your character, what do you think would be the first thing you would do as them?
Fe'trean: Try every fun thing I can imagine I would be able to do 8D

11. Is there something about your character that you don't like how others think of them?
Fe'trean: Well, she's defined as a furry and that creates huge prejudices.

12. What advantages does your character have over you?
Fe'trean: She's physically stronger, talented fighter and can use magic. And is a lot beteer educated.

13. What disadvantages?
Fe'trean: She's the 'better me' so hard to say.... Her sanity is more unstable than mine. She is an albino which is not the best option being a daimon in my world....

14. Do you have any secrets relating to your character that only you know?
Fe'trean: Yes. Only one-word answer o.o

15. Do you have any secret drawings only you know about?
Fe'trean: Not really any secret ones.. only sketches that I haven't polished.

16. Do you have any plans for your character or are you working on something big relating to him/her?
Fe'trean: Yes. I'm planning to write a story.

17. What misconception(s), if any, do people have about your character?
Fe'trean: That Fe'trean is male. This is because there is no breasts. Daimons won't have breasts before late state of pregnancy because breasts would be on the way while fighting etc.

18. If you could have just ONE characteristic from your character, what would it be?
Fe'trean: Her smartness. It includes the sarcasm and irony....

19. Have you made any characters that go along with yours, based on real-life people, that have the same relationship with your character as you with the real-life person?
Fe'trean: No. Another one-word answer o.o

20. Have you written any stories about your character?
Fe'trean: Actually yes, but never finished.

21. How has your character changed since his/her first creation?
Fe'trean: The answer depends completely from what we presume as 'first creation'.. and nobody wants to read the whole text anyway.... Not that much though.

22. Give us a one-liner from him/her.
Fe'trean: "What in the name of Seven Hellbeasts is going on?!" Uses the "in the name of Seven Hellbeasts" rather than "fuck"

23. What's something people would be surprised to learn about your character?
Fe'trean: People don't know much about her anyway so they don't know what to expect. >__> Perhaps.. that she's the lamest character you can create? Haha, kidding, but maybe the mask thing or her origins. Or the fact she can be the biggest asshole you'll ever meet or that one thing or that other thing-- *starts mumbling in her beard*

24. If you met your character in real life, what would you do with him or her?
Fe'trean: Have wild sex on the kitchen table.

The smell of death

My dog just died.

Why do I cry over some pets that are at the end quite useless and keep my feelings inside when a human dies?

I remember when my mother's father got into an accident and nearly died.
I remember when my mother's mother died.
I remember when my father's father died.
I remember when my father's mother had to go to hospital. Later I heard it was serious.

However.... I didn't cry. Maybe few tears escaped but that's all. I wish the dead won't take it as an insult....

But I also remember that I've cried over each death of my rats. There are many so I won't remember each individually but I remember I cried....

By the way, the dog wasn't actually mine; he was my mother's but.. yea. I lived in the same household and took him out.

Interesting thing though.... a death of a dog has such an impact on me.

When he came to us he was called Pösö but we changed him to Zacharias (like Zacharias Topelius) but for us just Sakari, Sasori or Sas. ^__^ I never liked the fact some people tend to call him "Sakke" D:

After being sick so short while Zacharias suddenly stopped breathing. I was by his side. My mother started artificial respiration. After forty minutes Zacharias died.
The animal doctors had already arrived ten minutes earlier and were trying to save him but in the end he choked.
We do not know what really happened.. Why he got sick and then just died there.. at home.

First he seemed depressed. He didn't eat, not even the pork mother offered, and followed me everywhere, like seeking help. Something I couldn't give.

I won't tell you the whole thing here because I know it isn't worth reading.
I told it personally to my sister and I'll tell it those close to Zacharias if they want to hear.
Besides.. some part of me wants to forget it all....
I cannot stop blaming myself and my mother blames herself for not believing her own instincts.

The answer for the question I started with is in reality surprisingly simple.
One more death to add I remember.. our dog, Goliath (or just Kola), who died many years ago.. and comparing his case to these previously mentioned....

I was there

Almost all the rats I held when they died. Felt them dying. Others I held right after their death. Zacharias died only two meters away. I didn't see it but I felt the last nervous reflexes or whatever they are called. Like he was stretching, except he was just dead.

My grandmother, grandfather and Kola were some place else.

The title comes for the fact I learned the smell of death. I thought I'd meet that smell only on dead rats but it seems to work on dogs too. I'm just wondering do I really want to test it on humans....

And the reason I'm wasting your time to this was his age. Zacharias died on 7th December 2006 and was born on Valentines Day.. And the next Valentines Day would have been his second birthday.

PS. Life goes on. This isn't even near to the worst thing that could happen. And there are people with real problems.

This year I've been busy!

Last Thursday I had a shoot-out with rival gang lords on the 5 near LA (-76 points). Last Friday I pushed mercenary_jay in the mud (-17 points). Last week I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points). Last Saturday I gave deideichan a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). In April I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-1054 points). For Christmas I deserve a lump of coal!

Tracon II

Once upon a time Daimonyon, Shota, Deivii, Fluor and Jay went together to an anime, manga, fantasy and roleplay convention called Tracon.

The day before, they tried to go to sleep early with varied results.

Fluor and Jay were the first to fall asleep, then dropped Shota and Deivii.
As you might guess already: me, the Daimonyon, couldn't get any sleep. D:

But then in stead of rolling off my bed, I chose to do at least something i.e. drawing (now tell me, who was surprised >__> ).
I doodled some of my characters with fairly bad results (with one exception) and this.

I finished it the day after Tracon and it's somewhat speedy for me. :0
I didn't pay much attention to some things, just wanted to finish this because I finally managed to do a fan art out of manga.
But holy shit I'm surprised by the outcome. O__o

The picture represents my Badou cosplay and Jay's Madarame Ikkaku cosplay.
The idea is honestly quite random but like the other (unfinished) drawing this has me and Jay snoring. XD
Might be my lack of (and wish to) sleep at that moment. ^o^;;
Besides, I love to pair Badou with random characters. :p

Their light skin tone gave me a headache and made me wonder why there isn't that much tanned or just darker or blue or even completely black skin tone in the manga worlds. D:
Except black is as difficult as white so no drows for me....
It made me think that in future I might do only brown, red and blue people.
Purple can go too.

To Tracon

We went there by car, Jay being the driver. It was thanks to Fluor we could listen music along the way. :D
It was fun anyway, I like traveling, sometimes more than being in the destination. XD

I cosplayed Badou from DOGS.
Shota cosplayed Rufus ShinRa from Final Fantasy VII
Jay cosplayed Madarame Ikkaku from Bleach
Deivii was herself = Davey Havok from AFI

There were a few interesting cosplay and stuff. Yea.
One Sakura (from Naruto) cosplay copied my idea "Recognise my cosplay, I give you a cookie" and I was so touched. XD
Of course I guessed right and got the cookie. ^^

Then some weird dudes came to me and recognised my cosplay. :0
I was so bewildered I wasn't sure what to speak of >__> not that I'm able to speak with strangers anyway ^o^;;

But yea, it was fun time again. ^__^
Even though the eye patch kept killing my eyesight in many ways.
I guess I won't be Badou any more .__. one reason being that I don't like the fact I myself have hair dyed red.
Of course another being the hardship with the eyepatch.

Rant: financical problems

No money, no funny. Q__Q

Due to certain circumstances I won't be getting any money until December.

It means I won't be able to get the things I need. For example the manga I'm buying from Jay will be delayed.
I had told her and she said it was alright but I still feel uncomfortable with it. ;__;

There is, however, a bigger problem.

If I don't get certain book of almost 20€, I'm screwed. My teacher said anyone without the book after the week holiday will get kicked from the course.
And I have to buy three, maybe four, school books for the current term.
Approximately 20€ each, give or take 5€.

I just want to disappear sometimes.

I'm little by little having more of my characters to see the light of day.. and stuff. XD I haven't finished drawing them and the colouring is yet to be decided.
Even Fe'trean might seem changing all the time ^.^;; but it's just.. she is hard to let be something I don't want her to be. ^o^;;
Female characters has been a pain to do, though not anymore. Or then I was just scared to create girl demons. =D

Probably next one in line to introduce is Tesoro, the cook / chef (whichever should be used in a ship). She is a gecko some of a kind. Not sure about the colours to use, though I know what kind of markings. Yea.
Tesoro is quite general cook you can meet in any restaurant or such: vulgar language rated NC-17. XD Even my mom has said something like "don't mess with the cook on duty...."

Then there is this other girl whose name changed again (sorry Jay): Gyr'Thiala. Changed from Gyra because it was too much alike to Gryma >__>;;
Note the name: the second part starts with a capital (unlike Gryma'khon and other) and in pronouncication the vowels are not extended. Yea.

Their family names are under construction too.

I MIGHT do some writing of this world and characters of mine.
That means you'll be waiting it for the next two years before I start at this rate.... The stories would contain some things about ships I really need to learn before I start spreading lies.
But I say again: I only might do it. It's just a hunch of an idea of a story or something I have in my head. That's all.
Besides, what's the hurry? Nobody's going to read it and I am not going to publish it by the legal ways or something ^w^

no sleep till the sun rises .__.

Lately I haven't been able to get to sleep in a decent time; I've seen the sun to rise past week or longer already....
Then I end up waking between 1pm and 4pm which is not fun ;__;

I want to sleep.
I even took half of a sleeping pill (whole pill wouldn't have been healthy) but it didn't help Q__Q

It cannot be such a big deal to grant me some sleep or can it?

For crying out loud it's already 5am .__.

And it's getting brighter outside.. the sun is going to rise again, or more like the Earth is moving in a way it seems like the sun would move, just like every fucking other morning during the existence of this pathetic planet >o<

**At this part I took a dog for a walk. The following text is produced after I came back**

Aargh.. now the other dog wants to go out too >_o

But anyway, before I took the dog out I noticed how the sky had suddenly changed and went to take a look.. well I had to ask my mom, who was awake too, to check it out.
It looked so pretty I wanted to take a picture but the only "available" digital camera was almost two miles away. ;__;

My mom then suggested I should get the old fashioned camera she had in her bag.
It had some film left too.
Then I ended up taking the dog for a walk and chasing the sunrise. :D

I was fairly fun actually.
The doggy, the camera and me, in my pajamas and a bathrobe.
Probably looked quite interesting. ô__o

I walked about half of a mile to the nearest possible place to take pictures.
Alas the sun had rose enough above the horizon so there weren't much of any good pictures to take.

Nonetheless I decided to put the pictures in my deviantART account just because I did so much to get 'em

I am so exhausted because of all the walking and climbing I'll probably finally get some sleep. >__>
However.. this is quite much the time I end up falling asleep anyway.

Whoa.. this became far longer entry than I planned. O__o

PS: Sunrise is far too overrated. Most of those 'sunset lovers' wouldn't probably see any difference between dawn and twilight pictures.... >__>

I just came back from library. 900 meters (1m=3ft) there and same back. When I went out and while walking to the library I was thinking "This is not that bad. Maybe I should try some other time again."

....

While walking back I swore to myself I'll never do it again. I was sweating quite mch and I could feel the sweat drops going down my back

It might had have something to do with the fact I was in all black AND with long black leather coat.
Genius me.

I never can think anything decent to add here.
EXCEPT FOR NOW! Muahhahhahhahhahhaaaa!

A few day ago I for some random reason decided to watch Disasterpieces (the slipknot DVD). I ended up making moving gifs, one of them being as one of my LJ Userpic. ^^

But it wasn't easy. At all.

I had to:
01. search a possible scene long/short and viewable enough
02. take the screenshots
03. delete the twin pics and make sure there was no jumps
04. convert them one by one to jpg to get them 4/5 smaller
05. compress them (max 10mb each pack)
06. borrow the modem to Zaraki, my computer
07. send them to my e-mail one pack at a time
08. hope the Internet connection don't fail because of the broken wire/cable/whatever (eventually it did)
09. bring the modem back
10. uncompress them
11. open them with photoshop (which does not include image ready)
12. resize
13. save as a gif file with layers as frames

Sounds like fun, now doesn't it? ^____^

In the end I made all double: 50x50 versions and 100x100 versions.

Whoa.. I feel like.. really empty. I love reading but it seems to suck me dry. Not fair. ;____;

Last Sunday I read the book Harry Potter ja puoliverinen prinssi (the Finnish Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling). I started about midday and finished way past midnight (I cannot remember exact time, most likely after two a.m.). Since I read it too fast and I got addicted I feel reaaaally odd afterwards. Maybe I should go to rehab or something.... ;;>_>
But one of the most, maybe not annoying but not fun, things was the fact it took over six months to get the book translated into Finnish and published. But at least it was good quality.

Well later the week I went to library and found amazingly another book I've been waiting for: Kuninkaiden koitos (A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin). O_o I read that in five days and I read at daytime slept through the nights. O_o Might have something to do with the fact I didn't go to school.... -_-;; But anyway, I got addicted again! X_x

Now I had two books where my mind is moving around circles and squares.... X____x

Of course I like to keep myself informed so I ended up surfing the Internet.. which wasn't a good idea in the end.. ._. Because I was confused about some things in the Kuninkaiden koitos I went to clear them out with the help of Wikipedia. But it had one tiny little thing "wrong".. I had read only two volumes, which means I ended up spoiling a few things. >_< I hope not too much....

But at the moment the bigger issue is that I'm obsessed with Severus Snape. @__@
..cute name, ^-^ Severus.. *giggles*
I'm not exactly sure how to react.. but it feels nice.. mostly....
If we don't count the fact that I'm in love with an imaginary person (which is not even mine) even though I'm above the normal-age-of-falling-in-love-with-un-existent-person.... >____<;;

Plus he is probably almost twice my age.... >_> The Severus guy in the Harry Potter movies, Alan Rickman is 60.... o_o still dead sexy *drools*
Even if we count the age on the HP, it's too much.. about the time Voldi-hun tried to kill Harry, Severus honey bunny was about 21 or so, therefore right now when Harry is 16 Severus is at least 37 year old man. TT_______TT
But all this will not exclude the fact he does not exist.

We got a dog.
You know, one of those four legged hairy creatures which you can see some peolpe sometimes having with them when they go to out for non-apparent reason.

It's a male and about six months old. I've heard he's a half schäferhund and a half rottweiler therefore quite a German dog.

When he came here he had really odd name so we decided to change it. Me and my sister had quite nice names but mom liked none of 'em. One of them being homo (apparently a joke) but the allegation was invalidated by allegation that he happens to be a canis. He ended up having name Zacharias which is quite nice. Plus it's quite close to two other invalidated name suggestions: Zaraki and Sasori. Now I say those two though I try Zacharias ^_^;;

A new school period started on Monday and I already feel like dead. X_x I'm missing three courses from the last one because I'm a huge slacker.
But at least I manged to get myself to buy two schoolbooks and happily I had totally forgotten the sale days around there. TT_TT For some random reason I wanted to start killing people there. ;;>_> But I didn't, WHEEEE!!

Boxtorrents had to take down over 600 torrents. I don't blame them: several licensing companies-whatever asked them remove the licensed ones and to at least keep the site up they had to co-operate. But for me that totally sucks.
Around here, in the backwood of Siberia (or sometimes even identified as Finland), the anime and manga culture has come known only a while ago therefore I highly doubt all of those - quite an amount of anime Boxtorrents had to remove - will ever land on the shores of Finland.
It's such a pity because all those torrents were good quality too, just wonder will I ever find 'em elsewhere. I'm not telling I'm a leecher who don't care others, I'm just extremely frustrated fan. Besides it would be nice to buy the DVD's of animes I like but because those aren't aired here Icannot know whether it is good or bad....
